I joined Hugging Face 🤗

The next chapter in my professional career

I'm thrilled to announce that I've started a new position as a Software Engineer at Hugging Face 🤗.

As someone who began coding at a very young age, I've been fascinated by Machine Learning and AI applications since childhood. Working for an AI company has always been my dream.

I first learned about Hugging Face around 2019 during an internship at Botfuel. At that time, I used Hugging Face's tools and learned a great deal from the community. I was deeply impressed by what Hugging Face had built for the AI community.

Fast forward to early 2024: I had completed my Master's degree in Cybersecurity and was working as a Security Engineer at Snowpack. During my free time, to avoid wasting hours on social media, I began contributing to open-source projects. I started with llama.cpp, then wllama, and then huggingface.js. By coincidence, I had the opportunity to speak with Julien Chaumond, the CTO of Hugging Face. I was delighted to learn that the team was open to bringing me on board.
